Step-by-Step Instructions
With Yellow:
Round 1: Ch 2. 7 sc in 2nd chain from the hook. Sl st to first sc, ch 1. (7)
Round 2: (sc inc) in each stitch around. Sl st to first sc, ch 1. (14)
Round 3: (sc, sc inc)* repeat from * around. Sl st to first sc, ch 1. (21)
Round 4: In back loops only, (sc in the next 5, sc2tog)*. Repeat from * around. Sl st to first sc, ch 1. (18)
Round 5: Sc in each stitch. Sl st to first sc, ch 1. (18)
Round 6: (Sc in the next 4, sc2tog)*. Repeat from * around. Cut yellow yarn. Change yarn to orange yarn and sl st to first sc, ch 1. (15)
With Orange:
Round 7: Sc in each stitch. Sl st to first sc, ch 1. (15)
Round 8: (Sc in the next 3, sc2tog)*. Repeat from * around. Sl st to first sc, ch 1. (12)
Round 9: Sc in each stitch. Cut orange yarn. Change yarn to white yarn and sl st to first sc, ch 1. (12)
Add Face Details:
Turn Callie Corn over so that the working yarn and hook are in the back. The face details will be added to the front.
Place safety eyes between rounds 8 and 9, 2 or 3 stitches apart.
With pink bulky yarn, Stitch cheeks right below each eye, 1 stitch across.
With black medium yarn, stitch mouth 1 row below eyes in a U-shape.
With White:
Round 10: (Sc in the next 2, sc2tog)*. Repeat from * around. Sl st to first sc, ch 1. (9)
Grab a handful of stuffing and stuff the body.
Round 11: Sc in each stitch. Sl st to first sc, ch 1. (9)
Round 12: (Sc in the next sc, sc2tog)*. Repeat from * around. Sl st to first sc. (6)
Add a little more stuffing into the top of the head.
Cut yarn leaving a 12 inch tail. Thread tail into yarn needle. Sew the top of the candy corn closed.
Weave in end and finish off!
Bow:
Row 1: Ch 5. Sc in 2nd chain from the hook and next 3 sts. Ch 1 turn. (4)
Row 2: Sc in each st across. (4)
Finish off and weave in ends.
Cut a 12 inch piece of yarn. Use the yarn to tie a tight knot in the center of the rectangle just made, forming it into a bow shape.
Wrap the yarn around the center of the rectangle a few times then tie again.
Use the ends to stitch the bow onto Callie’s head.
